Family Partnership

women-childHead Start offers families opportunities and support for growth, so that they may identify their own strengths, needs, and interests. Family Partnership involves Family Service Workers working with families on goals setting through an agreement process. The program encourages parents to find their own solutions as they identify and meet their goals, nurture the development of their children and collaborates with agencies that are supportive of children and families of all cultures.
Community Partnerships

Head Start collaborates with partners in the communities in order to provide the highest level of services to children and families. The program provides experiences and activities which enhances the parent's role as the principal influence in their child's education and development. Head Start advocates for parents through accessing to community services and resources. Head Start provides services to the total family, and parent involvement is included in all areas of the program.

Transition

Transition prepares children and their families for a successful move from one learning environment to another with continuity and coherence of services. The Transition process prepares children for Kindergarten.
